National Technology Standards

The full text of the National Education Technology Plan is available at http://www.ed.gov/. In addition, the Web site features a blog so that visitors can provide feedback and thoughts about the Plan and a showcase of student-produced works in a Student Voices section.

The National Educational Technology Standards for Students is designed to provide teachers, technology planners, teacher preparation institutions, and educational decision-makers with frameworks and standards to guide them in establishing enriched learning environments supported by technology. Teachers can use these standards and profiles as guidelines for planning technology-based activities in which students achieve success in learning, communication, and life skills.
